Katie
Katie was born in Wisconsin, and has lived in and travelled around the world. She has lived in 5 countries outside of the U.S., and has visited at least 10 others. The Czech Republic is one of her favorites, where she lived and worked as a Kindergarten teacher, and one of the raddest things she’s done is cliff jumping in Thailand. She enjoys cooking, nature/exploring, and laughing with great people. Katie loves learning; she has background in design, science, and business, and is currently working on her degree in Hospitality Management. This free-spirit now looks forward to a lifetime of joy and adventures with her sweetheart, Vaggeli!
Evangelos
Evangelos (Vaggeli) was born in Athens and spent much of his early childhood on Kefalonia, moving to Salt Lake City at the age of 8. His curiosity to learn how things work and are made, led him to study architecture at the University of Utah, where he received his degrees. Today, Vaggeli is a licensed architect and is involved in his family’s businesses in Salt Lake and Kefalonia. Vaggeli loves to create. Whether that means designing new buildings or objects, or cooking a fresh meal for his darling Katie, he alway tries to refine his craft with relentless curiosity and love.

We met in 2020, on our first date over pizza! We hit it off immediately, bonding over our love of travel, good food, and classic rock! Early in our relationship, the pandemic tossed us a curve ball and we navigated new circumstances together, and grew closer together every day. We love life together! We laugh, cry, work, and play together. We enjoy cooking together, playing board games, and when we can break away from our busy lives, we love traveling together. We finished remodeling a home together this year, and have proven to make the absolute best team.The wait to find one another was more than worth it. Yes, we’re a couple of saps, who are completely stuck on one another.
